Job summary

TriCore, Inc. is seeking a Support Engineer to provide remote technical support for customers maintaining production, cleaning, data collection, and reporting systems.

You will troubleshoot issues, document resolutions, and implement approved PLC- and HMI-based changes while following safety and policy requirements. The role emphasizes timely communication, accurate documentation, and growing proficiency with TriCore’s automation technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in engineering or automation environments.
• Entry-level through ~5 years of experience with increasing independence over time.
• Foundational knowledge in electrical design, PLC ladder logic, HMI configuration, and industrial electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot customer-reported technical issues by reviewing system information and identifying steps.
• Apply TriCore standards and best practices when developing support solutions.
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams throughout the support process.
• Document troubleshooting steps, findings, and resolution activities.
