E80 Group, a leading provider of automated intralogistics, seeks a Remote Support Automation Engineer to troubleshoot, program, and configure automated systems for customers across North America. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
The role requires strong PLC skills, experience with Siemens/Rockwell/Beckhoff platforms, and travel up to 25%.
Competenze
- Associate degree or technical diploma, or equivalent experience in Industrial Automation or Controls Engineering.
- 4–7+ years in industrial automation or related technical environments.
- Experience with Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff PLCs and industrial networking protocols.
Mansioni
- Configure, test, and validate PLCs, HMIs, drives, and motion systems.
- Provide remote troubleshooting and technical support across North America.
- Support commissioning, startup, and system recovery via secure remote access.
- Diagnose PLC, robotics, motion control, and networking issues.
- Prepare programmable spare parts to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with Service, Reliability, Field Service, Quality, and Engineering teams.
