Job summary
Beckhoff Special Project Engineer position supports customer projects through software development, system design, product implementation, and integration of Beckhoff technologies into TwinCAT systems. Reporting to the Special Projects Group Manager, this role provides a dedicated resource for Beckhoff-driven solutions in customer environments.
Responsibilities include delivering customer projects, mentoring engineering teams, collaborating with Product Management for technology implementation,
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical field.
- 4–6 years of experience in industrial automation.
- Deep experience with industrial systems design.
- Experience with PLC/embedded/PC-based control systems.
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% and valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Provide application support for customer projects including software development, system design, and Beckhoff implementation.
- Develop software solutions across Beckhoff portfolio based on customer requirements.
- Assist OEMs with initial system implementation and Beckhoff product adoption.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Sales for technology integration and guidance.
