Job summary

Beckhoff Automation USA is seeking an Automotive Industry Application Engineer to advance automotive automation with Beckhoff PC-based control. You will partner with customers to design and implement control and test solutions, develop demonstration assets, and lead technical discussions with OEMs and Tier suppliers.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in automotive automation, strong PLC and motion control skills, and experience with TwinCAT and IEC 61131-3.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer or related Engineering.
• 10+ years in automation systems for automotive environments.

Responsibilities

• Support automotive customers with PC-based control and Beckhoff libraries.
• Guide customers in machine programming, integration and testing.
• Develop control and test concepts for automotive applications.
• Create TwinCAT application examples and proofs of concept.
• Collaborate with Sales and Industry teams to drive adoption.
