Job summary

Festo Corporation is seeking an Application Engineer I/II to serve as a technical partner to the sales organization, delivering application expertise and automation solutions. The role involves direct customer engagement, solution development, and project support, with 50-70% of time onsite at customer facilities from concept to commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in electrical/mechatronics/mechanical engineering with relevant experience.
• Experience in project engineering or similar roles is desirable.
• Proficiency with Festo product data tools and office software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to sales and customers on applications and production processes.
• Propose customer-specific automation solutions and prepare requirement specifications.
• Support pre-sales activities and coordinate with internal departments.
• Deliver technical training and facilitate knowledge transfer to customers.
• Assist in product development input and compliance with norms/regulations.
• Travel to customer sites for concept development, commissioning, and optimization.
