Job summary

Tether Ltd. is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation and manual testing. You will drive QA across our digital finance platforms, collaborating with developers and product to ensure testability and robust release quality.

Qualifications

4+ years in QA automation with manual and exploratory testing.
Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript.
Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on iOS/Android.
Experience using AI tools in QA; testing AI-powered apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
Perform hands‑on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
