Job summary

Zensar Technologies is seeking a remote Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automation solutions that streamline operations across platforms. You will work on scripting, APIs, and orchestration to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Python and shell scripting, plus a strong background in database operations and system administration.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on expertise in Python, Bash/Shell, PowerShell or similar scripting languages.
• Ability to analyze existing online and offline operational processes, identify automation opportunities, and translate them into executable scripts/workflows.
• Experience automating database operations, system administration, batch processing, monitoring, validation, and routine support tasks.
• Capable of understanding an end-to-end activity and recommending the right automation approach using scripts, APIs, schedulers, or orchestration tools.
• Should be hands-on in developing, testing, troubleshooting, and executing automation, with focus on reliability, error handling, logging, and reducing manual effort.
