Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, or Python.
• Proven track record on complex software projects.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and SDLC.
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, QTP, LoadRunner).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with version control (Git, Subversion).
• Understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
• Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Knowledge of SQL for validating data.
• Testing of web apps, APIs, services.
• Understanding of security testing practices and tools.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and UAT testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures to meet standards and requirements.
• Develop test plans, schedule, and approach.
• Write test cases and scripts and identify data for test scenarios.
• Walkthrough test cases/scripts with stakeholders.
• Lead tests and IT systems to ensure proper operation and defect freedom.
• Verify work products using defined methods and criteria.
• Document and communicate test results.
• Support analysis of test results and resolution of issues.
• Document and resolve complex problems.
• Report progress on issue resolution to management.
• Develop improvements to procedures and models for configurations.
• Create daily test metrics and reporting.
• Occasionally perform other IT systems engineering activities.
