Job summary

Syms Strategic Group is seeking an Automated Test Engineer (ATE) for a 100% remote, full-time role supporting Veterans Affairs. Expect to develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts with strong automation across web, API, and software testing domains.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, U.S. citizenship, and a Public Trust (MBI) clearance; proficiency in Selenium/JUnit/TestNG, CI/CD, SQL, and diverse testing types is required. This is a W2, US-based remote position.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in automated and manual testing across diverse software projects.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and SDLC.
• Strong test planning, scripting, and execution capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and procedures to ensure product quality.
• Create test plans, schedules, and approaches; write test cases and scripts.
• Document and communicate test results; support analysis and issue resolution.
