Job summary

Lumen in the United States is seeking an AutoCAD/Record Drawings Specialist to support engineering planning and maintain drawings in SharePoint. You will create and update floor plans, site plans, and AC 1-line drawings, ensuring accuracy and accessibility across the organization.

You will collaborate with engineers and vendors to add as-built information, locate property lines using GIS data, and manage the drawing workflow to support faster project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3+ years in AutoCAD.
• AutoCAD proficiency with attention to detail and efficient turnaround.
• Experience in Telecommunication or Data Center design.
• Architectural or electrical/AC 1-line design experience.
• GIS/Mapping or Civil design experience.
• AutoCAD Map 3D knowledge.
• Net or AutoLISP programming for AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Create initial designs for new projects with engineers.
• Develop floor plans and site plans as needed.
• Locate property lines using GIS data and imagery; add buildings, roads, driveways.
• Work with electrical symbology for AC 1-Line drawings.
• Research missing information and verify data.
• Update drawings with as-built information from engineers or vendors.
• Create and modify 2D/3D blocks and dynamic blocks.
• Generate PDFs for design updates and completions.
• Manage drawing workflow in SharePoint and internal systems.
• Serve as AutoCAD SME to assist planners and engineers.
