Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, timely action plans, and collaboration with insureds, clients, and brokers.

Essential duties include evaluating damages, pursuing subrogation, and maintaining professional relationships while supporting Sedgwick's quality programs. Telecommuter opportunities are available nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and state adjusting licenses as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review Property Damage estimates and negotiate claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; proficient with PC software.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims and documents files.
• Maintains action plans to meet deadlines and resolve files promptly.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities and handles salvage disposition.
• Communicates claim actions with insureds, clients, and brokers as appropriate.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on claims assignments.
• Travels as required and supports quality programs.
