Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage to analyze and process auto and liability claims. You will assess damage, issue payments, and document files in compliance with policy requirements.

The role emphasizes timely action plans, subrogation opportunities, and strong client communication. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree, familiar with personal/commercial lines, and possess excellent written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; State adjusting licenses as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review Property Damage estimates and negotiate claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing, salvage forms, and title requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims.
• Assess damage, make payments, and document files per policy.
• Develop action plans to meet deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identify subrogation opportunities; secure and dispose of salvage.
• Communicate claim actions with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Maintain professional client relations; perform coverage and damage analysis.
• Support quality programs and travel as required.
