Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage. This role analyzes and processes auto and general liability property damage claims, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree, familiarity with property policies, and strong communication. It offers a comprehensive benefits package and remote work options across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; State adjusting licenses as required for the position.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review Property Damage estimates and negotiate first/third party claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage requirements is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; proficient with MS Office.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process auto and general liability property damage claims; assess damage, issue payments, and code files according to policy.
• Develop action plans to meet deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identify subrogation opportunities; secure and dispose of salvage.
• Communicate claim actions with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Maintain professional client relations throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Perform coverage, liability and damage analysis on assignments; support quality programs.
