Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Representative for Auto and Property Damage to analyze and process auto and general liability claims from a central hub. You will assess damage, authorize payments, and ensure files are properly documented and coded per policy.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree and state adjusting licenses as required, with strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity for travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Secure and maintain the State adjusting licenses as required for the position.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review and assess Property Damage estimates, total loss evaluations, and related expenses to effectively negotiate first and third party claims.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and processes auto and general liability property damage claims.
• Develops and maintains action plans to meet state contract deadlines and move files to resolution.
• Identifies and pursues subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and agent or broker as appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analyses on all claims assignments.
• Travels as required.
