Job summary

Sedgwick in Florida is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims. You will assess damage, authorize payments, and ensure files are properly documented.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and state adjusting licenses as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review and assess Property Damage estimates and related expenses.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
• PC literate and analytical with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and ensures claim files are properly documented and correctly coded based on the policy.
• Develops and maintains action plans to ensure deadlines are met and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies and pursues subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim action/processing with insured, client, and broker when appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on all claims assignments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Supports the organization's quality programs.
• Travels as required.
