Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; state adjusting licenses as required
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies
• Ability to review Property Damage estimates and negotiate claims
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• PC literate with Microsoft Office products
• Analytical and interpretive skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team and meet service expectations

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; assesses damage, pays, and codes files per policy
• Maintains action plans to meet state contract deadlines and move files toward resolution
• Identifies subrogation opportunities; secures salvage
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker
• Maintains professional client relations
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on claims
• Supports the organization's quality programs; travels as required
