Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage to analyze and process auto and liability property damage claims. You will review estimates, secure settlements, and document files to policy requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree preference, strong communication, and teamwork. Travel may be required; Sedgwick offers a comprehensive benefits package and a culture focused on care and balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and state adjusting licenses as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review and assess property damage estimates and related expenses.
• Knowledge of total loss processing, salvage forms and title requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
• PC literate and proficient with office software.
• Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
• Highly organized with good interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented and able to meet service expectations.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; assesses damage and payments.
• Maintains documentation and coding of claim files per policy.
• Develops action plans to meet deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities; secures salvage.
• Communicates claim action with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on claims.
• Supports the organization's quality programs and travels as required.
