Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims. You will assess damages, code files accurately, and communicate outcomes with clients and insureds.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to manage deadlines while working in a collaborative environment. A bachelor's degree and adjuster licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an accredited college or university preferred
• State adjusting licenses as required for the position
• Ability to review and assess property damage estimates and related expenses
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
• Analytical and interpretive skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to meet or exceed service expectations

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; analyzes damage, makes payments, and ensures files are properly documented and coded
• Develops action plans to meet deadlines and drive resolution
• Identifies and pursues subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and agent or broker as appropriate
• Maintains professional client relations
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analyses on claims
• Travels as required
• Supports the organization's quality programs
