Job description

*FULLY REMOTE Car Mechanic*

Pay: $18/hr.

We are seeking a Remote Car Mechanic to play a vital role in delivering top-quality products and services in a rapidly expanding organization within a unique industry.

You will work from home in an inbound call center environment, reviewing requests from automotive repair shops to approve or decline repairs based on client policies.

Training Schedule: 9am-5pm

Shift Flexibility: Must be flexible; 5-day shifts either Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday, with options including:

• 7am-3:30pm
• 8am-4:30pm
• 9am-5:30pm
• 10am-6:30pm
• 11am-7:30pm

A Day in the Life

• Leverage your technical skills while working remotely.
• Respond to incoming calls from drivers and suppliers to address inquiries about technical and non-technical issues.
• Provide service assistance and directions to drivers and clients.
• Handle supplier calls and create electronic repair invoices.
• Negotiate repair prices when appropriate and review requests for compliance with policies.
• Authorize valid repairs to control vehicle maintenance costs and minimize downtime.
• Make outbound calls to initiate services, follow up, or resolve issues.

Additional Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active ASE Certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of hands-on automotive mechanical experience preferred.

• Team player who enjoys working with clients and repair shops daily.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range is $14.00 - $18.00/hr.
