Job summary

United Automobile Insurance Company is seeking an Insurance Fraud Investigator I (SIU) for remote work in the United States, focused on high-complexity auto fraud investigations. The role involves field and desk investigations, data review, and collaboration with law enforcement and medical professionals.

A minimum of an associate degree and 5 years related experience is preferred, with bilingual English/Spanish abilities.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred with 5 years of related work experience.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required for communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and interviewing skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desk investigations to detect fraud in auto claims.
• Review medical billing, CPT codes, and medical records to identify fraud patterns.
• Interrogate databases and prepare comprehensive investigative reports.
• Interview insureds, providers, and witnesses with attention to admissibility of statements.
• Coordinate with NICB, law enforcement, and external partners as needed.
• Mentor junior investigators and ensure compliance with regulations.
