Qualifications

• 1+ years of casualty claim handling experience; trucking experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Previous experience in customer service role, or a related field, is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and expand knowledge.
• Position will require independent adjuster licenses for many states within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Handle low-complexity claims involving physical damage and related coverage issues with accuracy and service.
• Establish initial and follow-up contact with insureds, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with vendors for timely appraisal and evaluation of damages.
• Assess coverage by applying policy terms and inform insureds of decisions.
• Maintain proper reserves and ensure documentation supports each reserve.
• Investigate claims through interviews with policyholders, witnesses, and experts.
• Manage totals loss claims including vehicle appraisal and salvage processes.
• Ensure compliance with jurisdictional requirements and internal guidelines.
