Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage to analyze and process auto-related claims from a remote location. The role emphasizes accurate damage assessment, clear communication, and timely resolution for insureds, agents, and clients.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; state adjusting licenses as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review and assess Property Damage estimates, total loss evaluations, and related expenses to negotiate claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing, salvage forms, and title requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process auto and transportation claims, including property damage and lower-level injuries.
• Develop action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities; secure and dispose of salvage.
• Communicate claim action with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Maintain professional client relations and document interactions clearly.
• Perform coverage, liability, and damage analysis on assignments.
• Support the organization’s quality programs and participate in team activities.
