Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a member's BH condition via medical records to determine medical necessity for Autism and ABA services.
• Interact with providers to obtain additional BH information when needed.
• Apply criteria and guidelines to authorize medically necessary services.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards.
• Educate caregivers, families, and providers on autism benefits and ABA processes.
• Coordinate with care navigators/case management for comprehensive care.
