Job summary
The Technical Support Audiologist role at Demant provides audiological support to hearing care professionals using our hearing aid technology. You will handle fitting solutions, software troubleshooting, and customer education while promoting Oticon products and collaborating with colleagues.
Ideal candidates have an audiology degree and 1+ years of clinical experience, with strong communication and multitasking abilities.
Qualifications
- Audiology degree equivalent to MS/MA/Au.D. or HIS equivalent.
- 1+ years of clinical/field experience in audiological evaluations and hearing aid dispensing.
- Strong customer-facing technical expertise and rapport-building skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and communicate across the company and with customers.
- Positive, professional demeanor with all levels of staff and customers.
- Attention to detail and follow-up; computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
- Flexible team player in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Provides hearing aid fitting solutions and recommendations to customers
- Completes technical troubleshooting of instruments and software
- Provides technical assistance with shell and production manufacturing issues
- Provides training and education programs for employees and customers
- Promotes and sells Oticon products
- Establishes collaborative relationships with customers and colleagues
- Travel to attend conventions and seminars as needed
