Job summary

Cella by Randstad Digital is seeking an Audience Strategy Operations Manager in a hybrid/remote role supporting a premier beauty retailer. The position focuses on developing audience targeting strategies, managing end-to-end workflows, and governing platform activations with internal teams and external partners.

The role requires 5+ years in retail media or related fields, strong data and ad-tech skills, and a Bachelor's degree. Local Bolingbrook, IL preferred with remote consideration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in retail media, digital advertising, audience strategy, media activation, ad technology, or data strategy.
• Hands-on experience with audience management platforms, identity providers, CDPs, or related AdTech/MarTech tools.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; cross-functional communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Audience Strategy & Advisory: translate advertiser goals into actionable first-party data targeting recommendations across channels.
• Operations & Workflow Management: own end-to-end audience operating model from request to creation and distribution.
• Platform Governance & Activation: oversee platform distribution, ensure naming/documentation standards, handle activation issues.
• Product & Capability Development: identify gaps, collaborate with Product/MarTech to prioritize capabilities.
• Performance Analysis & Optimization: track audience performance and connect targeting to outcomes across campaigns.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: partner with Sales, Data, Media and external vendors to drive continuous improvement.
