Job summary

Henderson Scott US is seeking a fully remote attorney licensed in Nevada to manage a broad range of consumer protection matters. The role requires residency in Nevada and active admission to the Nevada Bar, with no billable hours and a fixed 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities include handling a diversified caseload, drafting pleadings and contracts, and negotiating settlements. You will perform legal research and interact with clients and opposing counsel to resolve disputes.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Nevada.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.

• Communicating with clients regarding their respective matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements, etc.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Legal research related to contract law and other areas of consumer law.

This is a fully remote role outside of court appearances. You must live in Nevada and MUST BE admitted to practice law in Nevada

there are no billable hours and this is a strictly 40 hour per week role

This position imparts broad responsibilities and exposes you to a range of legal issues related to consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation matters.

You will manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients by developing agreements, negotiating contracts, setting claims and advocating for clients in court.

Qualifications

• Must be currently admitted to practice law in NV (multi-state admission would be amazing)
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm
