Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring an Attorney Auditor for a fully remote role open to candidates in any of the 50 United States. You will review client invoices for services to insurers, corporate legal departments, and government entities, applying billing guidelines and GAAP standards.

Key responsibilities include applying client billing rules, developing billing protocols with clients, and coordinating with law firms to ensure compliance. Training completion may precede remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• JD required and licensed to practice law.
• Five years of insurance defense or complex litigation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply clients’ billing guidelines and standards.
• Work with clients to develop or enhance billing protocol.
• Communicate effectively with law firms to discuss compliance with billing requirements.
• Manage invoice workflow independently to finalize and approve invoices for payment.
• Meet company performance standards for production.
• Collaborate with team members to meet objectives.

Education

Juris Doctorate (JD) required.
