Job summary

SAIC CTS seeks a Full-time Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) to support FAA training at the San Juan CERAP in Carolina, Puerto Rico. The RPO simulates pilot actions and communicates via a voice system during ATC training exercises.

Candidates must have US citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance, and a high school diploma with basic computer skills; familiarity with aviation phraseology is a plus.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to read/interpret diagrams and manuals; clear spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate a remote air traffic control training simulator as pilot and controller.
• Input entries into automated system to simulate pilot actions.
• Use voice communication system to respond to students with proper ATC phraseology.
