Job summary

PenBay Technology Group seeks motivated, computer-savvy individuals to fill Remote Pilot Operator positions. No aviation experience is required, but preferred background includes air traffic control, pilot studies, or related fields.

The RPO role involves simulating pilot actions and ATC communications during high-fidelity training, using CRT/keyboard and VCS. This is a full-time position with on-site expectations at our training facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in a comparable position.
• Typing speed of 40 wpm with 90% accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret materials such as diagrams and manuals.
• Ability to speak clearly and be understood.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CRT/keyboard/VCS setup to simulate pilot actions and ATC communications.
• Receive voice commands from students and input entries into the automated system.
• Translate displayed information into ATC terminology and respond via the VCS.
• Collaborate with instructors and students during training exercises.
