Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Full-time Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) to join the Controller Training Solutions team at Nashville ATCT / TRACON (BNA) in Nashville, TN, supporting FAA air traffic controller training services.

The RPO performs pilot-like actions in a high-fidelity simulator, processes voice commands, enters data into the system, and uses proper ATC phraseology to mirror real operations. Certification training includes classroom and lab components to ensure readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals; clear spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate a simulated radar display and voice communications to mimic pilot actions.
• Input data into automated systems to simulate pilot actions.
• Translate displayed information into ATC terminology.
• Use proper ATC phraseology when communicating with students.
