Job summary

State Compensation Insurance Fund in Los Angeles County is seeking an Associate Systems Administrator for a 12-month limited-term full-time position. You will support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and network/telecom infrastructure, providing frontline IT services to internal customers.

Responsibilities include incident handling, user training, and coordinating technical support with various programs. Telework is available, and a permanent appointment may follow LT if warranted.

Qualifications

• Eighteen (18) months IT Technician experience.
• Two (2) years of IT Technical, analytical or computer systems or services experience.
• Some experience may be substituted for education.
• This is a 12-month limited term position; may be extended or made permanent.
• Telework available; work location is Los Angeles County.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service as the single point of contact to customers by managing call activity, service tickets, and issue resolution.
• Administer and maintain Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, servers, network equipment, and telephone systems to meet site operational needs.
• Coordinate/provide technical support and training to end-users and local program operations.
