UnitedHealth Group, through Optum, is hiring an Associate Software Engineer to help build healthcare portal features for claims and insurance processing. You will work across the full software development lifecycle using Java 11/17/21, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Adobe Experience Manager to deliver backend services and enhanced web applications.

You’ll have the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.

Formación

Bachelor's degree required.
1+ years of full-stack development with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
1+ years building web apps with React and TypeScript.
1+ years writing SQL with PostgreSQL.
1+ years of logging/monitoring (e.g., Splunk) and version control (Git).

Responsabilidades

Build healthcare portal features for claims and insurance processing.
Develop Java backend services and RESTful APIs with Spring Boot and PostgreSQL.
Improve performance, responsiveness, and load times across full-stack platforms.
Participate in requirements, design, code reviews, and Agile delivery.
Monitor and diagnose production health using Splunk.
Develop AI-powered solutions and automations with responsible AI practices.
Build event-driven components with Kafka and AWS.
