Bridgeway Benefit Technologies LLC is seeking an Associate Platform Engineer to support design, development, and maintenance of scalable cloud infrastructure enabling Bridgesway teams to build, test, and deploy applications efficiently. The role combines software engineering, systems architecture, and operations, with a focus on automation, monitoring, security, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional engineering or IT operations experience with exposure to cloud infrastructure.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with scripting languages.
• Basic knowledge of version control systems.
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and CI/CD pipeline tools.
• Basic understanding of containerization and orchestration concepts (e.g., ECS, ACA, K8s, Docker).
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks.
• Proficient communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Eagerness to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Experience using generative AI tools such as Claude and Copilot to improve productivity and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Software Development, or related field.

Responsabilités

• Assist in maintaining and monitoring cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code to provision cloud resources.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automate repetitive tasks.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and patches.
• Respond to basic issues and support tickets with Tier 2 escalations.
• Contribute to runbooks for Tier 1 support team.
• Assist in root-cause analysis for infrastructure incidents.
• Support disaster recovery testing and verify backups.
• Identify opportunities to optimize performance and cloud costs.
• Help implement security measures and access controls.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams.
• Document procedures and configurations following Secure SDLC and SCRUM/Agile.
• Participate in code reviews, mentorship, and paired programming.
• Contribute to smaller projects with guidance from peers.
• Participate in Tier 2 on-call rotation.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline workflows and accelerate delivery.
