Job summary

Verapath is seeking an Associate Platform Engineer at entry level to join our remote team. You will work under a senior Platform Engineer, starting with read-only access and supervised tasks while you learn our Azure/AWS stack and CI/CD practices.

You will help monitor pipelines, maintain cloud environments, assist with identity and security tasks, and contribute to runbooks and automation as you grow your responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in IT, DevOps, cloud, or related areas.
• Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (Azure preferred, AWS welcome).
• Scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Familiar with Git, branches and pull requests.
• Basic networking and identity concepts.
• Clear communication and detailed documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and investigate failed builds.
• Maintain Azure and AWS dev, staging, and demo environments.
• Assist with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 onboarding and access controls.
• Collect SOC 2 evidence and track remediation items until closure.
• Troubleshoot client deployments under guidance and resolve issues.
• Create and update runbooks and docs in Markdown.
