Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an experienced attorney to join the Legal Department as Associate General Counsel focused on Governance and Transactions. Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one US state.
• 2–6 years of experience in corporate/transactional practice; health law experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and transactional matters within the Governance and Transactions Practice Group.
• Execute legal projects with moderate independence under senior attorney oversight.
• Mentor peers, paralegals, and staff in the Legal Department.
• Assess legal and regulatory risks and provide practical solutions.
• Manage outside counsel and internal budgets while upholding the Code of Conduct.
