Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join its remote team in Bannockburn, IL. The role provides comprehensive legal advice to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and supports enterprise-wide governance and risk management.

The candidate will draft and negotiate agreements, manage litigation matters, and collaborate with compliance and security teams. Requires strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, plus 5–10 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5–10 years of relevant legal experience, including commercial contracting.
• Experience managing litigation and supporting corporate governance.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and technology-savvy.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Advise on contractual, regulatory, operational, and reputational risks.
• Manage contract matters from intake through execution.
• Oversee litigation matters, including strategy and budget.
• Support corporate governance and entity-management functions.
• Collaborate with compliance, information security, and other departments.
• Develop and maintain legal templates and negotiation playbooks.
• Support contract lifecycle management initiatives.
