Job summary

United Biosource Corporation seeks an experienced Associate General Counsel to lead EU/data privacy and clinical/regulatory matters for global programs. This role provides strategic legal counsel across cross‑functional teams, partners with privacy leadership, and guides employment and data protection initiatives in a highly regulated biopharma environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years legal experience, including 7+ years in-house at a clinical research/biopharma services organization.
• Experience advising on global clinical trials, privacy and data protection programs.
• Familiarity with GDPR/UK GDPR, HIPAA and international health data requirements.
• Experience with EU employment law and multi-country employee relations.
• Ability to draft and negotiate complex contracts and data processing agreements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead legal adviser on clinical and commercial biopharma services, regulatory, pharmacovigilance and data management matters.
• Provide privacy and regulatory support across cross-functional teams and programs.
• Draft, review, and negotiate master services, data sharing and processing agreements.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise on risk and compliance strategies.
• Partner with HR and business leaders on EU workforce matters and employee privacy.
