Solar Landscape is seeking an Associate General Counsel – General Corporate/Finance to join our legal team. This role handles corporate matters, entity formation, project financing, and subscriber agreements for our renewable energy projects.

The ideal candidate has a J.D. with an active bar, 1+ year in corporate law (project finance/M&A preferred), strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work across teams in a fast-paced environment. Fully remote with HQ option in Asbury Park, NJ.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active bar membership.
• 1+ years of corporate law experience, including project finance and/or M&A.
• Strong contract negotiation and regulatory compliance experience.
• Ability to balance business needs with legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide legal support for project financing and RECs transactions.
• Handle entity formation and registrations with compliance across jurisdictions.
• Manage subscriber acquisition and related legal documentation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs and key agreements.
• Conduct due diligence on real estate matters for solar project development.
• Collaborate with business teams from development through energization.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and monitor evolving legal trends.
