Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking an Associate Director, Clinic Operations for a remote, national role reporting to the Regional Medical Director. You will lead a team of virtual care providers, optimize clinic operations, and drive quality and safety in value-based care.

The position blends clinical practice (~10%) with strategic oversight, requiring NP/PA licensure and a track record of scaling operations in high-growth healthcare.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active, unrestricted license.
• 2–5 years of clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP, PA).
• 2–3 years of experience leading physicians or APPs.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain additional state licenses as needed (FL, TX, MS, LA, VA, NC, SC, GA, AZ).
• At least 1 year of experience in a virtual care setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of virtual care providers and promote accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Manage clinic operations: schedule optimization, access management, provider coverage, resource allocation, productivity, and panel performance.
• Ensure efficient virtual care workflows that support patient access, continuity of care, and quality outcomes.
• Lead provider performance management through coaching and development.
• Promote high-quality, safe, evidence-based care across the virtual clinic.
