Job summary

RTX seeks an Associate Director to lead the Enterprise Quality Audit team, directing a group of auditors to ensure QMS conformance and drive continuous improvement. You will partner with Business Units and certification bodies to support surveillance efforts and certification activities.

The role emphasizes data-driven insights, leadership development, and cross-functional collaboration to sustain robust quality governance and reliable product delivery for aerospace and defense programs.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with 10 years of experience.
• AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification or ability to obtain AA/AEA certification within one year.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret U.S. government-issued security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Enterprise Quality Audit team to ensure conformance with QMS requirements.
• Develop and implement compliance-related improvement projects and processes.
• Partner with Business Units and independent certification bodies to support audits and surveillance.
• Direct audit schedules, logistics, and closure of corrective actions; lead special audits as needed.
• Travel up to 70% domestically and internationally.
