PLOS is seeking the Associate Director, Publishing to provide strategic leadership for the journal portfolio and drive priorities aligned with our mission. You will lead a team of Publishers and coordinate with Editorial, Sales, and Global Publishing Development to advance journal development and performance.

You will guide strategy using publishing data, financial information, and market insights, shaping growth opportunities and managing risks across the portfolio.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement a portfolio-wide publishing strategy aligned with PLOS's mission and organizational objectives.
• Lead portfolio reviews and recommend journal positioning, growth opportunities and performance directions.
• Oversee publishing budgets and forecasts in partnership with the Director and Publishers.
• Foster cross-functional partnerships with Editors-in-Chief, Editorial Board members, researchers, institutions, societies, and partner organizations.
