The Nature Conservancy seeks an Associate Director of Communications, North America Region, to guide internal and external messaging for the region. This remote, full-time role partners with senior leaders to align strategy with TNC’s 2030 goals and global communications.

Responsibilities include developing strategic plans, creating talking points, and driving rapid-response communication across campaigns and programs. Strong writing and relationship management are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8+ years of related experience.
• Experience cultivating and managing relationships with senior executives, board members and media.
• Experience measuring results of strategic communications plans and programmes.
• Experience supporting earned media efforts, including preparing executives for media interviews.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute the strategic communications plan for the North America Region.
• Create talking points, FAQs, backgrounders and other critical communications materials.
• Advise on and execute communications rollouts covering finance, operations, policy communications and change initiatives.
• Provide leadership and connectivity between teams for internal, executive, policy and crisis communications.
• Support rapid-response communications involving internal and external audiences.
• Align NAR communications with Global Marketing and Communications strategies.
• Support executive communications for key NAR leaders.
