Job summary

CCL Hospitality is seeking an Associate Director of Business Development to support our sales team and drive growth of the portfolio in the national market. Reporting to the Regional Vice President of Sales, this role will help win new business.

This remote position supports Behavioral Health prospects nationwide, with travel 20–50% and preference for candidates in the Central Time Zone. The role offers growth into a Director of Business Development as part of Compass Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in a business development role in the food service management industry preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with individuals at all levels.
• Ability to understand financials.
• Proficient with MS Office, CRM databases, and Excel.
• High energy, positive attitude, and excellent communication/presentation skills.
• Flexible and able to shift priorities with ease.
• Experience working independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Managing our CRM database and maintaining accurate and timely records.
• Identifying key targets and new business opportunities.
• Conducting extensive research on key targets.
• Developing and executing a prospecting strategy for key targets including collateral development, campaigns, etc.
• Participating in and supporting the deal/proposal development with internal subject-matter experts (site tours, creative proposal writing and development, pricing strategy and financial modeling, etc.)
• Supporting the contract process.
• Travel when necessary - approximately 25 - 35%.
