Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Stars Associate Director to lead a collaborative team focused on Medicare Stars measures and patient safety.

You will develop, implement, and manage clinical programs to improve appropriate medication use and drive performance against multiple quality measures. Ideal candidates have PharmD or equivalent, active licensure, 5+ years in managed care or pharmacy, and proven management experience.

Qualifications

• PharmD or RPh from an accredited school.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacy license.
• 5+ years of clinical experience in managed care or pharmacy.
• More than two years experience in a managerial role.
• Ability to lead and make sound business decisions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Capable of multi-project work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strategic thinker with planning skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support a team responsible for clinical program strategies.
• Develop, implement, and manage initiatives to improve Medicare members' medication use.
• Ensure performance against multiple quality measures and goals.
• Provide direction and decision making across departments as needed.
