Job summary

Travere Therapeutics Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Search and Evaluation to identify and evaluate external sources of innovation for in-licensing, acquisition or collaboration.

You will work with scientific experts to prioritize opportunities and support diligence, contracting, and integration efforts, advancing Travere’s leadership in rare diseases. The role requires collaboration across cross-functional teams, knowledge of rare diseases, and the ability to travel up to 30%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant scientific experience in biotech/pharma with business development focus.

Responsibilities

• Identify leads and source BD opportunities aligned with scientific/business objectives.
• Conduct thorough scientific evaluations for in-licensing, acquisition, or collaboration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional deal teams through diligence, contracting and integration.
• Build relationships with researchers, industry experts, and potential partners.
• Stay abreast of industry trends to inform search strategies and evaluations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences

Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MS, MBA) preferred
