UBC is seeking an Associate Director, CRM Software Engineering to lead CRM platform capabilities, software design, and delivery across the Patient Access Service. The role will be highly hands-on in planning, architecture, and implementation, aligning business needs with technical solutions to improve client and patient outcomes.

The position requires Dynamics 365 mastery, strong .NET and Azure experience, and leadership to bridge teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Minimum of 10 years of software development oversight and 3 years of people leadership.
• Dynamics 365 Mastery: CE modules including Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing.
• Integration capabilities: bridging Dynamics 365 with third-party software and Azure.
• 3 years of Power Platform & Dataverse: Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse.
• Strong architectural mindset and SDLC/Agile proficiency.
• 5+ years' experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Extensive knowledge of .NET stack: Visual Studio, TFS/Azure DevOps, ASP.NET/WebForms/MVC/Angular/Node.js, Web Services.
• SQL Server or Oracle RDBMS expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and plan CRM platform implementations across the SDLC.
• Provide technical leadership in the design and implementation of CRM solutions.
• Participate in all SDLC phases and coordinate with UBC tech units.
• Contribute to infrastructure and software development environment design.
• Support infrastructure troubleshooting and upgrades as needed.
• Foster a team-based software development culture and tooling.
• Demonstrate capabilities to stakeholders and clients as required.
• Develop and measure application development practices.
• Manage resources across platform development teams.
• Act as a technical liaison translating business goals into system architecture.
• Guide change management for smooth user adoption and continuous improvement.
