Job summary

ProHealth Physicians, part of the Optum family, is seeking an Associate Director of Clinical Compensation for a remote role. You will partner with Finance, HR, Physician Leadership, and Operations to ensure market-competitive and compliant provider compensation programs.

Responsibilities include annual surveys, model reviews for APC/PCP, incentive design, and budget support. Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and travel readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 8+ years of provider compensation experience including compensation analysis, productivity metrics, and physician practice operations.
• Understanding of provider compensation models, market benchmarking, productivity metrics, and incentive design.
• Knowledge of Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS) regulations.
• Experience using provider compensation benchmark data, SullivanCotter or comparable sources.
• Ability to lead complex cross-functional projects from planning through execution.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel roughly 10–15% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual Provider Compensation Survey process and SullivanCotter submission.
• Review APC/PCP compensation models for market competitiveness and strategy.
• Analyze and enhance provider compensation programs and incentives.
• Document annual compensation plan reviews and performance metrics.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with compensation projections and analyses.
• Create provider compensation plan documents and onboarding materials.
• Ensure compliance with Stark Law and AKS.
