Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Associate Director - AI Solutions Architect to lead enterprise architecture, cloud modernization, and Generative AI transformation initiatives. This remote US role collaborates with clients and executives to define roadmaps and deliver AI-enabled business solutions.

You will guide large-scale modernization, architect AI solutions, and ensure governance, security, and scalable deployments across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field.
• 12+ years delivering solution and enterprise architecture across tech programs.
• Hands-on design of Agentic AI using LangChain/LangGraph or similar.
• Proven RAG implementations with vector DBs like Pinecone/Weaviate/Chroma/FAISS.
• Deep knowledge of LLM ecosystems (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) and related tools.
• Experience embedding AI tools (Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Claude) in enterprises.
• Strong Generative AI governance, security, and scalability practices.
• Experience with AWS and/or GCP, Java/Spring Boot, microservices, distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture engagements from discovery to adoption.
• Drive modernization and cloud-native transformations for enterprises.
• Architect and implement AI-enabled enterprise solutions using AWS/GCP, Java, microservices.
• Design Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions with modern frameworks and vector databases.
• Define roadmaps, POCs, prototypes aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with executives to identify opportunities and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Establish architecture standards, governance, security, and engineering excellence.
• Mentor architects and engineering teams to foster innovation.
