Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Associate Director - AI Solutions Architect to lead enterprise architecture, cloud modernization, and Generative AI initiatives. This remote USA role partners with executives and engineering teams to define roadmaps and deliver AI-enabled business solutions.

You will guide Generative AI architectures, integrate AI tools, and drive governance, security, and scalable delivery across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in solution/enterprise architecture or technology consulting.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation and vector databases.
• Strong knowledge of LLMs and AI tooling.
• Experience integrating AI tools into large-scale enterprise programs.
• Deep knowledge of Generative AI governance, security, and infra.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture engagements from discovery to adoption.
• Drive modernization initiatives transforming legacy apps into cloud-native architectures.
• Architect and implement enterprise solutions using AWS, GCP, Java, Spring Boot, microservices, APIs.
• Design and guide Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions with modern AI frameworks and LLMs.
• Define roadmaps, POCs, prototypes, and POVs aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Establish architecture standards, governance, security, and engineering excellence.
• Mentor architects and engineering teams to foster innovation.
