Leidos in the United States is seeking an Associate Buyer to join our Shared Services Procurement team. You will process requests, issue RFQs, and work with suppliers to ensure timely, compliant purchasing for diverse programs.

You'll gain hands‑on experience in supplier management, price analysis, and FAR requirements while collaborating with internal customers and program teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience in procurement, supply chain, or business.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Effective written and verbal communication with internal customers and suppliers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with ERP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Process routine purchase requests in accordance with policies.
• Prepare and issue RFQs; obtain pricing and delivery information.
• Review requisitions for accuracy with internal customers.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders within purchasing authority.
• Communicate with suppliers on pricing, availability, and delivery.
• Assist with price analysis, supplier selection, and negotiations.
• Maintain purchasing records compliant with government contracting requirements.
• Monitor open POs and follow up on deliveries.
• Collaborate with program teams and procurement professionals.
• Develop knowledge of procurement processes and FAR requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service.
• Escalate complex issues to senior buyers.
